Recently read, very recently, about the concept of interest only mortgage. I realize this is not new. It was used back in the 30's,I believe,to help those who would not otherwise be able to purchase a home. I am under the impression the FED does not use Housing as any measurable quantum in her Inflation calculus. Is this true? Anybody.

The idea that one should feel the need to purchase a home with an interest only variable troubles me. I know,I have been told not to be my neighbors keeper. Overall, this as me slightly troubled. Maybe it shouldn't. I have to wonder how true market forces might compensate for all of this somewhere down the road.
