It's good of you to get philosophical, IMO, offering questions like "did god create god." On the other hand (and without addressing your question which is fairly common fare, if always essentially relevant though unanswerable, IMO), I'm not particularly sorry for having referenced, after a fashion, an ethereal spirit being as a "thing." I think it's ok, and certainly didn't intend to mislead anyone. I'd rather call Satan a "thing" than call a human being one.

Who created god but perhaps a higher god, and who created that higher god but a still higher god? I see no time when we'll be able to answer for such logical dilemmas as this. It may be instructive in some way, even without having a reasonable end solution.
