Z, Well, my position is to take from the poor and make them rich in the process, while making the rich (and everyone around them) richer a bit later on.

a) The poor don't get "rich" in the process. Even in today's hot real estate market, they'll have to use the money to buy another home.

b) Lots of corruption possible with the private version of eminent domain. You're a greedy real estate developer with connections in local government? The Supreme Court's ruling just opened up a world of possibilities to you.
