This is quite a leap...
Setting up your straw man by putting words in my mouth does nothing but cloud the issue. You made the following statement:
Guess what, Mexicans come here and get free education to prepare themselves for the tech jobs you believe are not at risk. This racist notion that Mexicans can only do the most menial work is pure bunk. Message 21543108
Flying in the face of your argument is the fact that the majority of illegal Mexican immigrants occupy jobs that are classified as "menial work". I pointed this out here:
An estimated three million undocumented Mexicans already live and work in the U.S. Contrary to what critics say about 'stealing' American jobs, the truth is that they fill mostly menial slots that Americans would sooner spurn. They are field hands, nannies, landscapers, custodians, bus boys, dishwashers, chambermaids and construction workers. immigrationforum.org
And then you attempt to tell me what my beliefs are with this post:
"Therefore, you believe that illegal immigration should continue unabated. You believe that Mexicans can break our laws with impunity. I believe you are wrong. You believe Mexicans have more rights than any other group. You believe your job isn't threatened. I believe this onslaught of illegals is overwhelming the system.
I have made no statements about what my position is with respect to immigration. Alas, you have taken it upon yourself to make an attempt to define what my position is so you can knock it down. Nice try, but your venal attempt to define my position falls short based on the record.
As to this:
As to your continued assertion Mexicans only do menial work...I say baloney.
So this is your unsupported position. I've provide factual links to the contrary. But hey, don't let facts cloud your rant. :)
BTW, if you'd like me to comment on this:
Maybe you'd like to refute this Free Republic source.
Please provide a link. Otherwise I can only assume you made this up in an attempt to bolster your argument with false information.
