None of the recruiting trends bode well for the Army, said Loren Thompson, an analyst at the Lexington Institute in Arlington, Va.

If there is no one willing to fight, can the war(s) be sustained?
Even with incentives increased to $40k bonuses, there are few takers because there are few backers of this war. IMO.
