So where is that post of mine claiming alliance to Monetarism? Couldn't find it could you. It isn't there.

I firmly believe that the Fed has no business using interest rate targeting, that interest rates should be totally determined by the free market for money. You, on the other hand, think that the Australian Reserve Bank does a good job when it uses interest rate policy to target housing speculation! A monetary policy tool to target a Keynesian objective!

I'll say it one more time in case you missed it, no monetary authority can possible know what the interest rate SHOULD be or what the size of the money supply SHOULD be.
