You are a dreamer indeed! 911 did have hitches, thankfully, and there is no reason to believe a Clinton or Gore Administration would have done more with your so-called 8/6/01 "warning" which I believe you misrepresent. We've heard of an unsuccessful effort which was underway prior to 9/11 though such "warnings" were common. Truly, why should I think Al Gore would have picked this to order the sort of balls out manpower on, that may have been necessary to do the job? Dreaming of your utopia, I tell ya. Now Bush probably only intends to defend America through Iraq and elsewhere as needed, and you are crying that we should not have moved on Iraq without further support which wasn't going to be forthcoming regardless of who was President. You'd rather we'd had more support and had given it more thought, but we've had time to think, and are doing what we can, and we are meeting with real successes despite all attacks, and we have the support of Iraqis despite continued attacks. Perhaps all the thought in the world wouldn't have prevented such terrorism as continues in Iraq. Terrorized before, but now happier and freer though still terrorized, is Iraq. Dan B.
