The only reason that an intelligent person such as yourself would make a mistake like that is because you were distracted by your pride in pointing out the mistake of someone else. Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 13:10 Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is found in those who take advice. You can't avoid the structure of God's universe. Even intellect such as yours is not enough. So maybe instead of "replacing God" you should just ... I dunno ... toe the line?
