Certainly in this world we have good and bad. Borrowing from eastern religions, everything is in paired opposites.

Ying...Yang.
Hot...Cold.
Man...Woman.
White...Black.
Good...Bad.

So perhaps God could not create a world of only good. For without bad, how would we know the good?

God wanted to shield his creation from the knowledge of Bad, or Sin. He told Adam and Eve not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge. He must have known that the temptation would be great. His counterpart, Satan, surely would want man to know of him. Perhaps he took on the shape of the serpent to deceive?

Such is the innocence of a child. They know not but good when they are born.

For good to exist, then some form of bad must also exist, else how do you know good from bad? It's the knowledge of bad that is the door to acting in a bad manner.

The classic light versus the dark forces. Each of us has the choice to do good or bad.

For some, the US is the light force, while the middle east is the dark force. Bush wants you to think that.

But the dark forces are at work all over the world. Even in the oval office. The dark forces have Bush in their pocket, same as they have other evil doers doing their bidding. Greed and power are the driving forces of evil, and we can surely see that in this administration.

Consulted a higher power indeed...but it was Satan's work that he chose to do.
