Rich Democrats are not greedy misers. They see taxes as part of their duty to their country. Rich rightwingers would rather let the country go bankrupt than pay their fair share. They're the elitists, the selfish greedy ones who care more about their yachts and offshore accounts than their country. Hence their Bush tax code which sticks it to ordinary Americans while the richest walk off with the spoils.
