Well they screwed the pooch as far as making money.

axcelis.com

After hours looks like we will dip to the mid 6's.

I like the product and the market share ,but I don't like how they seem to be too comfortable about getting downsized and getting it done now.

They seem to have a genetic problem - much like I lived with in GM.

Big, comfortable, and not fast or lethal about "making money".

Perhaps a heritage they have from Eaton??

They still claim they have the ion implanter for 45 nm appliocations.

There is a timing issue with the Japanese subsidiary and I may not be used to that YET.

FOR MY TWO CENTS WORTH I'M HOPING I CAN BACK UP THE TRUCK BELOW 6.

This company may have the product - I'm not sure Mary Puma has the ice in her veins that is necessary to be a dynamic CEO.

Outsourcing of assemblies should be done by now - Cohu got it done a year ago!

Shutting down Rockdale or Rockville just needs to get done and charge it off - now we must endure 2 million in Q3 and maybe some in Q4.

On top of that the CFO says they may accrue some in 06 - heck write it of NOW and accrue it however you want - it seems like they avoid the tough calls.

May be genetics - that's not good.

I'll wait for them to get cheap and load up the truck - their product will generate business, but these people need a hard ass CEO.
