I cruised around the blog you linked to.

The idea of a place for writers to rap appeals to me, but short of a little banter from experienced writers encouraging new writers to persevere, I was disappointed.

Some of the posters could barely spell, let alone write. OK, we can allow a few typos on a blog. But someone wanting to attract attention to his or her writing would surely be a little more careful. Wouldn't she?

Writers need to be encouraged, to be sure. I found encouragement for this plea, but I wondered whether the encouragement should lead to a primer on grammar and spelling: I wants to turn a poem into a love noval

I would like to explore other such sites. Maybe something really useful will turn up.
