Like they cleared the decks with the Cobalt goodwill writeoff?

I actually don't pay attention to the details of their income and cash flow statements any more, because from where I sit a penny here and there just distract from the only important question: what are the prospects of the business going forward?

For years now it has been this that and the other thing, NONE of which have put the company on the road toward recovering revenues and steady growth.

When the new products and services and revenue growth speak for themselves, then McNealy won't be obliged to "like" Sun's position (he's probably the only one who does).

I much preferred the old days where, at the CC's, instead of frantically trying to spin straw into gold, McNealy often smugly said "we'll let the numbers speak for themselves" and smiled like the Cheshire cat while the shareholders lapped up the cream.
