Marie, I read an article on CHK not that long ago. It stated that this company was very cash flow negative. While I see they have a good deal of cash I would think that the dry holes they have been drilling has been eating into that cash. I guess what I'm trying to say is that CHK doesn't have the cash to be wasting on propping up the stock. They need it to deal with issues that go to the core survival of the company.
