Tens of millions of people died in WWII primarily because of Germany and Japan. The world and the U.S. was sick and tired of the loss of life and the years of war. Japan just wouldn't quit. Something had to be done, so millions more wouldn't die. Sometimes violence is necessary destroy an evil power.
