JF, The "salvation by faith" crowd is absolved of any earthly responsibility, not only to do "good works" but not to do "bad works" (wars, etc). The only responsibility is to recruit. A self-serving religion... "we'll take anyone and you can do anything as long as you get more people to join and keep growing the ranks". You don't suspect the hand of man in that scheme? I see, so Martin Luther opposing the Catholic Church during the Reformation is himself nothing but a fraud who's just jealous of the Pope's power. "Salvation by faith" does NOT absolve anyone of any earthly responsibility. That's your twisting of doctrine, and only to fit your view that all organized religions are nothing but a sham. Yes, I'm intolerant of hypocrites. Well then look in the mirror and start upholding yourself to your self-proclaimed values of intellect, open-mindedness, and tolerance. For someone who hates judgementalism, you sure demonstrate a lot of it yourself. As for me, I'll continue to re-evaluate my views on war and whether I should do a lot more "turning of the other cheek.". But don't expect me not to get all defensive when you go off on your usual rants. Tenchusatsu
