The Independent Police Complaints Commission has began an inquiry which is expected to take several months. Sounds like a government job to me! They should set up a private commission with equal access powers, and pay the private commission some amount of money for each day that passes between when the private commission finishes its investigation and when the IPPC finishes. The payment can come out of the police retirement fund. Several months!?!? Ridiculous!
