Why does the klan hate liberals then? Let's face it, if conservatives had their way, we'd hardly even have public education. The liberals, like people who choose to teach for a living instead of trying to become rich, are the backbone of public education. Without them, it would hardly exist. Wealthy conservatives send their kids to private schools or pay for 1st class public schools.

Blacks have had it rough in life for sure. The klan, schools, evaporating jobs, drugs, etc. Not a whole lot has been on their side. But, it really comes down to the individual. If you want to make it in this world you can, even against the greatest odds. I've worked with many blacks who have made it in society, many were educated in public schools.
