Well, I can't speak for all Christians, but Catholics have a very long tradition of teaching their flocks through some of the best schools in the country. I went to a private Catholic school, which was the best in the state I grew up in. I was taught by Catholic priests. My education was top notch and became the foundation for most of the success I've had in my life. Ironically, the religion classes that we were required to attend had content which mostly compared and contrasted all the great religions in the world. The aim was to help us understand the good in most religions, so we could become tolerant and broaden our minds. The result was that I grew up in a very strong framework of morals as well as had the best education that you can get in this country. So Catholics do pretty well in educating their flocks, thank you.

I went to a public school. Ninty percent of my graduating class went to college. It was one of the best hi schools in the state with several Merit scholarships winners each year. In addition, my school was half Christian/half Jewish........we learned that religion was a private affair best practiced in houses of worship. I would venture to say that most of my graduating class has gone on to lead very moral lives.
