We bought a new car in the 70s, which was a big mistake because that's when they were crap. We bought another in the 80s, but our last two have been used. They are just as good as new ones, I think.

My father in law loves to hang out at this dealership where he's dealt for about 50 years. He says it's important to build a relationship with a dealer, but I take my cues from my father who bought only one new car in his entire life.
