I dont see how one could call Nixon a nut job. Considering his overwhelming lead and subsequent smashing win in his second term one would have to think he was a little paranoid, perhaps he feelings of inferiority, perhaps we dont today still know the truth about Watergate, perhaps the whole thing was overblown. But, truth be known, Nixon did a lot of good things and when his alleged bad thing finally came home to roost he resigned rather then put the nation through a grueling impeachment battle. Clinton, "I never had sex with that woman" as he wagged his finger at us, didnt have the moral character to do the same and to this day the nation is locked in severe Partisanship. History will show THAT as Clintons legacy for us all. jdn
