What you call extremism is conservative policy re the economy and the environmnent. I agree with you that this admin has not been good on the environement but i think they have done a good job on the economy so far. My decision on who i vote for next time rests on positions on a number of issues and of course on the man or women who runs. You will love this one--if Bill Frist runs against Hillary, i probably vote for Hillary. But if Rudy or McCain run against Hillary, either probably gets my vote. You add up all the issues and then sprinkle it with the candidates personality and intelligence. I voted for Gore in 2000 in a close one, because i didnt hate the clinton admin and bush seemeed less informed. I voted for bush against kerry because kerry tried to parlay his vietnam service, not his opposition to that war into a victory. I hated that having been an anti vietnam war guy who is still unrepentent. I felt back then that if someone is anti war they just should partake. Kerry joined to make his resume like his hero JFK so he killed folks for political gain in the future. That pissed me off. MIke
