Did you get training in the field, or did you pick it up yourself?

My computer skills are almost all self-taught. I take the attitude that: 1) It probably can be done (whatever) with a computer, 2) I think I can do it, 3) I keep trying until I do it. 4) If it's really useful I modularize things that work and then I don't have to write them again.

Haven't been doing that since retirement. It is truly amazing how fast those skills fly away.
