And so Karen,
We got up early today and headed for the mountains this very special day and treked around, and mucked around from 9-10,000 feet for 6-7 miles or so. We didn't go to the top, we could have, but that wasn't our goal, our goal was to capture the moment, the journey and one special thing.. And so we did all three.. We did get high enough to be next to snow fields though.. Very cool..<g>
But we did capture a a lot, like wild flowers galore, just breaking out, a couple of new birds to us, a chipmunk posing for us only. Plus a beautiful water falls we had missed before.. All on camera, of course and on our hard drive of our minds..
And just maybe, just maybe, we will go to the top next weekend and have a good look around, just to make sure we haven't missed anything from before... I doubt it, but I always want to make sure.. :)
