Well they did spend $70 million trying to figure out why the Clintons lost money on their itsy bitsy land deal in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps the sheer magnitude of corruption in the Bush administration has the opposition and the media in a state of shock and awe. It's hard to keep up when every week brings with it new and stunning outrages.
