Ted, The individual must be willing to give up his/her possessions to make socialism work. Socialism isn't a dictatorship.

The giving up of possessions in a socialist government is not voluntary. Hence there is no free will involved.


BS. You are still talking about soviet-style communism which had some elements of socialism but was mostly an oligarchical dictatorship.

This is different from a communal "socialism," where everyone contributes out of their own free will.

Socialism is socialism whether its in the form of a commune or a nation state. With a nation state, the rules and laws may be more elaborate and complex but the concept remains the same.
