I noticed that some family members were quoted as saying that the shooting was unjustified. If it were my son I might be saying the same due to the extreme emotion of the moment.

But the truth: If he had obeyed the officer's demands he would most likely be alive today.

Instead they can write "Death Before Deportation" on his gravestone.
