partically, I think OT ;^D

"Supposedly, inflation is only 2% per year, then how about this: in about 2 years the price of a coffee and 2 doughnut combo in Dunkin Donuts went up close to 50% !"

On the other hand I recently bot an airline ticket from cal. to ny and paid 179 round trip. 50% of what i would have paid 20 years ago so we really have deflation. or

I paid 1.67 a lb for bonless chicken thighs last week. last year I had to pay 2.99 or

paid 500 for a dell that would have gone for 3000 10 years ago (if I could have found one at that speed)

paid 1.99 for some 2 buck chuck (wine) Still 1.99 so guess what NO inflation.

Could you come up with three more examples of rising prices?? Sure! I could come up with more drops. MAYBE someone ought to come up with an Index? Huh. Maybe we should get the government to do that...........
