you can always go to court and fight the ticket. i have read where the timing on camera equipment was off giving false tickets. one intersection in philly , extremely dangerous. deaths every months , numerous car accidents. all because of drivers going through red lights. they tried to put these lights in for a few years yet there was so much fuss it didn't happen finally this year they put them in. first three months are only warning tickets and they get over 400 tickets for people going through red lights. I forget if that was for a week or the month. now tickets are being issued. when i get a green a light i always hesitate a second or two before starting into the intersection. I cannot count how many times that has saved me from an accident over the years.
