Rob,

You need to do more homework on the power comparison between tillamook and C6. I believe the C6 wattage consumption is based on a 3.3 volt design, whereas tillamook is based on a lower voltage design (which is usually required for notebooks, but not true in the case of the C6 due to its design efficiencies). Glen Henry has already stated a lower voltage design will be introduced thereby increasing the gap between INTC and C6 (especially after C6 moves to .25u which tillamook is already at).

In addition, tillamook is targetted at the high end of the notebook market (at a cost of $500-750 that is all it can currently serve). The C6 would currently compete with low end notebook offerings which have both slower speeds and higher power consumption than even this first version of the C6. At prices closer to $100 for the C6, the low end of the notebook market still represents a significant opportunity for IDT and should not be dismissed simply due to the tillamook introduction.
