Oh well , that was a so much older world where if you were born poor or a slave , that combined with a pretty short life expectancy as it was , made for a very short miserable life. We should all be jumping for joy for the meds , variety of foods and standards we have today Unless you're a nomadic herder in drought stricken Nigeria right now . Life expectancy there hovers around 42yrs, with 50% of pop under 20yrs ...
