It's sad, really, that you conclude I used BLS data (or that BLS data is so skewed), simply because the chart indicates a reality far different from what you expected He apparently doesn't understand the term "implied inflation rate". This is OK, but what is not OK is to not even bother to look up a term you aren't familiar with. He could have simply asked you for an explanation. What always kills me in these various discussions is that so little investigation is done when there is an obvious disagreement in conclusions. How hard is it to go to Google and type in a term to at least double check what the term might mean before you make a fool out of yourself responding?
