Hudson River here is full of sewage every time it rains and then you see people jet-skiing in it. A colleague has a sailing boat on Lake Scandaga. I asked him why some people choose to sail on the Hudson and some on lakes. He said that the ones on the River are like people who grew up in the ghetto and don't know any better :P It was fun sailing his boat :) I was in Venice in June 98 and don't remember a mosquito issue. I prefer Venice CA, personally :) Why the hell anyone would go to Florida except in the winter or early spring I don't know...
