Their argument from the start is that taxpayers dollars shouldn't be used to fund an activity they think is murder. They can't use this against private funding.

I understand that Bush can't do anything about private activity. The question was whether he would want to if he could. I submit that he would. It doesn't make sense to me that "Bush is NOT opposed to private industry doing ANY stem-cell research they care to do."
