by the way, I found an excellent article in the Fitch website titled: Hedge Funds: An Emerging Force in the Global Credit Markets For some reason, I can't copy and paste that link. Take a look if you are interested in a simple (7 pages) explanation of the role hedge funds play in the credit markets.
