It's somewhere in the middle, I believe. It's senseless and wasteful to search elderly Americans and harassed mothers with babies in their arms when there are more likely prospects in the line. Behavior profiling should be essential, never mind race. Once I was in a line that was so long I missed my flight. All this time a woman in traditional Arab dress orbited the area. Her garments could easily have concealed a device sufficient to wipe out everyone in the line I was in. Nobody even gave her a howdy do. I'm sure she was quite innocent, but doesn't this give somebody a clue as to where the priorities are?
