Sounds like this elderly lady was reacting out of shock and fear. Probably had never been treated like this in her long life. Ouch. I'm trying to adjust to the notion of being "elderly" and unable to manage the surprises and travails of daily life and the requisite "flat affect" of the airport environment. 62 is way too young for that. However, 62 is way too old for just having fallen off the turnip truck.
