Andrew,

Re: "I am surprised that the cost of the resist has actually
fallen to only 3X that of i-line. It used to be a higher delta."

Yes, I agree that DUV resists just a year ago were much more expensive,
but with the strong demand for DUV exposure tools, the volume of DUV resist
has gone up enough that vendors are actually lowering prices. Used to be
that you could only buy APEX-E from IBM and they set the price ... isn't
competition wonderful !!

Also agree with you guys that I-Line is being extended now to cover more
of the .25um layers than originally expected. Within the last 9 months,
resist vendors have also come out with better I-Line resists capable of
resolving .28um isolated features (1um DOF) and .32um dense (1um DOF).
This is much better than was available even just a year ago !!

What have you guys heard in regards to Cymer. I have heard a rumor that
one of their customers could have excess inventory and is not ordering
at their old rate (and could be backing out of commitments). If this
is true, I would put my bet that the customer is SVGL.
