Thanks, Gene. Looking over this list of percentage gainers on the Nasdaq, it is fairly clear that moves higher have no leadership. Strange. . .Yahoo is down. OK, here is link to Marketwatch: marketwatch.com Only thing of significance is that there are many issues showing strong moves, which have high popularity among small investors. That is of course typical of the "holidility" phenom when the cats are away.

Nobody of consequence at or near 52 week high, despite the nasdaq pushing 2200. marketwatch.com

Most active by dollars traded was also quite benign. marketwatch.com

Nope, no leadership and weak volume. This simply does not have the feel of a "real" rally. Shorts can likely capture some quick and easy money from a number of these microcaps once the volume dries up.

Still on the sidelines, but then I tend to be there more these days anyway.
