<According to Boehme, good cannot be conceived without evil.>

Transcending the opposites... all is a 'spectrum', and any label creates it's opposite as well as many other 'labels'.

<I have a little interest in theology since I studied with a few Jesuit Philosophy Professors when I was in Graduate school.>

Theology is an attempt to intellectualize that which cannot be intellectualized. A Zen master might hit those guys over the head with his stick :))

In a way, all intellectual thought [mental verbalization form] is linear and very limited in a non-linear world. Linear thought in the human world is like water for the fish... we swim around [mostly] unaware of the paradigm we are in. Quantum physics {and of course the ego transcendance experience by the mystic} is finally looking at the water.

<That is to say, it's interesting dialogue but I wouldn't sell my soul to any of it.>

You have no soul if this life is 'it', right? Any sale would be like the Brooklyn Bridge therefore. :))
