If Martino is the Niger document "source" than Novak is the Plame "source". They are both in identical positions in those two cases, the investigation has gotten as far as them (publicly) but neither is assumed to be the original source, and neither has (publicly) revealed their source.

If I announced to this thread that the Plame source had confessed and the mystery was solved I'd expect the situation to be different than simply knowning what we currently know about Novak.
