China did allow European and American banks to take 49% ownership positions in a few insolvent Chinese banks.

I think we should strongly encourage China to take a 49% ownership position in any number of insolvent American and European companies.

Perhaps technology poor American companies can set up joint ventures with Chinese companies using Chinese technology. Within the first year the American companies could produce identical products under their own name at a lower price.

When China demands these patent infringer's be prosecuted, American officials can throw their hands up in the air and claim there's nothing they can do.

China is going to find it difficult to force other nations to bow to their whims as they do with their interanl dissidents.
