did Pacific Heights mark the top of the 80s bubble? i thought it was early 90s, in which case it marked the bottom, which would kind of make sense, since it was like a horror flick. i think Texas Chainsaw Massacre was supposed to mark some kind of bottom as well. haven't seen Money Pit. there was also a Japanese film with English title of something like Crazy Family, back in the 80s. these peoples' house got eaten by termites.
