OK, you raised a point, so here is my answer, hope all will read it.
First off, the Democrats are NOT for America, they are for the DEMOCRATIC PARTY. I have preached this for years and the proof is in the pudding.
1. They opposed thru filibustering the appointment of John Bolton even though nearly every expert says he is just what we need at the UN.
2. They are IMHO sneakily oppposing John Roberts, though every one of his PEERS say he is likely the fairest, smartest, and balanced potential Supreme the court has ever had.
3. They oppose SS reform under Bush, even though for many years they have claimed SS is in danger of insolvency.
4. They propose an outlandish troop increase KNOWING it would cause a DRAFT. Something neither the Military nor the current Administration wishes.
I could go on BUT let me summarize by saying, the Democratic Party will do anything, say anything, put this nation in any jeapordy IF it will somehow make Bush look bad and they look good. Anyone on this thread past age 50 knows this isnt right. Used to be once an election was over we all joined hands and together hauled the ship of state over any adversity. IMHO it is time to relegate the Democratic Party to oblivion and start anew with AMERICANS in the second party and not LEFTISTS. jdn |
