By Sarah Turner

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- The Brink's Company (BCO) said that second-quarter net income dropped to $15.3 million, or 27 cents a share, from $18.6 million, or 34 cents a share, a year ago. "Although operationally we posted a good quarter, this was overshadowed somewhat by the restructuring and severance costs, Michael Dan, chairman, president and CEO of the security services company. Revenue rose to $1.3 billion, from $1.1 billion last year. "Our businesses are well positioned as we head into the seasonally stronger second half of the year," he added.
