I do smile and wonder with what logic you proffer the shedding of foam remains the weak point is false.

On this flight, the foam shed missed or did not impact and there is no damage that is of concern. The fact that the words heat shield problem are used does not mean there is any serious problem at all. In view of what was found, problem should be replaced with concern.

The grounding of the shuttle is because the foam still sheds. I would call grounding a real problem.

"But Discovery's tank also shed large pieces of foam, prompting NASA to postpone future flights until the tank is repaired."

Did you miss this sentence in the article that appeared just before the concern text you quoted?
