Yep.

Pretty narrow win for the Rep. though (just 3%) in the foreshortened (just 7 weeks) campaign for the special election.

And, that in a 'safe' Rep. district that polled 64% for Bush.

--- I expect Hackett will pull a second tour in Iraq next year, then be back to run in the *regular* election in 2008.
