Based upon my understanding of the kenetic energy in a shedded piece of tile, I don't know that any significant increase in safty would be achieved with a new ceramic. I see safty as the first goal and then simplicity. I also believe a cost benefit analysis would totally favor a complete new design over a retrofit with a new heat shield material.

To the extent I could find technical data, I have the impression this new German material is much heavier than the existing tiles.

One should never use more than one processor if possible. But when I can find dual P3 intel motherboards for 12 bucks delivered and they have built ins like 100 base-t, I opt for a dual.

But if it's games hell, merlin only needs an 8085. toms.homeip.net
