Bush lied about the WMD's. But the worst lies were on the level right below him. Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, then on to Hannity and Limbaugh, etc. etc. Bush lies less than the others because he is heavily scripted and reads speeches which are carefully vetted.

Of course when asked after the invasion in Poland about the WMD's he said "we've already found them". That was off the cuff and unscripted.

These lies are only half the issue. The rest is the dishonesty with which Bush-Cheney rushed to war. Their almost total lack of preparation and honesty about the risks and the burden. That was highly irresponsible.
