The attorney's I've spoken to regard the "5th ammendment issue" as irrelevant and standard procedure in a dual criminal/civil trial. Additionally, I've heard that the officers took the fifth on all questions excluding their names including birthdates...How can one infer anything from that? If I was an attorney and I saw this pattern of answering, I would ask them everything from "did you steal the code? to "Did you shoot JFK?" Does anyone have some tangible/fundamental proof that these issues are slowing customer purchases of their products or they are "cooking the books"?
